Club Notes 02/07/18

Intermediate: It was the turn of the big ball this weekend as we played near neighbours Loughmore Castleiney in the final round of the County Football League. On a ferociously warm evening, where water breaks were a necessity, we secured a 0-17 to 1-11 victory to put us top of the County League Table. Minor: Our Minor hurlers began the first round of the hurling championship on Tuesday night where they face Na Sairsealaigh Óg in Templetuohy throwing in at 7.30pm. No result was at hand at time of going to print.

U16: Our U16’s began the first round of the hurling championship last week where they suffered an 8-16 to 2-10 loss to Moycarkey Borris.

U14: Our U14’s got their championship back on track last Thursday evening where they had a 4-08 to 2-10 win over Gortnahoe Glengoole. This Thursday evening sees them travel to Pairc Na nÓg where they face Durlas Óg at 7pm.

U12: Our U12 Group 2 team, have reached the Mid Quarter Final, this Saturday where they travel to Drombane to play the host at 11am. While our Group 5 team have one more game left in the round robin. They face Thurles Gaels this Tuesday night at 7pm in Templetuohy. No result at hand at time of going to print.

Cúl Camp: As summer times approaches booking are now available for Cúl Camp 2018. The camp will run in Templetuohy from August 6th to August 10th inclusive and all bookings can be made online at: https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/?county=Tipperary&page=2 We urge all members to book online in the coming week to ensure sufficient gear is ordered on time.

Minor Munster Final: Warmest congratulations to the Tipperary Minor Hurling team who were crowned Munster Champions on Sunday last in Thurles. Well done to our own Kieran Larkin, part of the panel and the entire team on this tremendous win.
