Club Notes 03/06/19

Junior: Following on from their League Final win our Juniors turned their attention to Football where they recorded a 0-11 to 1-06 win over Upperchurch in Round 1 of the Mid Championship. No rest however as they take on Thurles Gaels in Round 2 this coming Friday evening at 8pm in Templetuohy.

Intermediates: Our Intermediates returned to training this week ahead of their second last fixture in the County Hurling League. They take on near neighbours Drom/Inch this Saturday evening at 7.30pm in Templetuohy. All support appreciated.

U12: Our U12 Group 2 team have two fixtures this week as on Tuesday they face Drom/Inch in the Ragg at 7pm while on Saturday they face Loughmore in Templetuohy at 11am. Our Group 5 team suffered defeat in their first round game and receive a bye this week.

Cúl Camp: With the fun and excitement of the Easter Camp behind us why not book your child into this year’s Cúl Camp which takes place from Monday 5th to Friday 9th of August. All booking can be made online.

Shop: We are delighted to announce that our new Club Jersey is now available to purchase on the O’Neills website. It’s available in adult and kids sizes. A reminder that for every purchase made a percentage of it returns to the club.

Tipperary Teams: Congratulations to Paul Maher and the Tipperary Senior Hurling team on their emphatic win in Ennis over the weekend. Commiserations to Ciaran Lloyd and the Tipperary Minor team following their defeat to Clare in Round 3 of the Minor Championship. Well done also to Ava, Eva and Helen part of the Tipperary U14 Ladies football team in action over the weekend.

Sympathies: At our recent club meeting votes of sympathy were passed to the following families; Amanda Stapleton Borrisoleigh, Tom O’Brien Toomevara, John Ryan Borrisoleigh, Bernie Leahy Castleiney, Michael Cahill Kilruane and John Cantwell Two Mile Borris. May they rest in peace.
