Club Notes 03/12/18

U21: A nail-biting end to a thrilling game with Conor Bowe’s injury time winner sending us through to this years County U21B Hurling Final. Played in blustery conditions in Dolla our U21’s gave a heart warming and determined display of hurling coming from 2 points down at the break to win by the narrowest of margins, 0-17 to 2-10. We now face Cappawhite Gaels next Sunday at 12.30pm in Boherlahan in the County Final. We urge all members to make the place green and gold and support the lads on Sunday.

Intermediate: Due to the upcoming County U21B Final our scheduled Mid Intermediate Football Final is now POSTPONED until further notice.

Adjourned AGM: Adjourned AGM will take place on December 14th in Moyne Hall at 8pm.

Scór: Well done to all our Scór acts who took to the stage for this years County Scór Na nÓg Final. On what was a very high standard competition all our acts gave it everything but were unsuccessful on the day. Our thanks to the kids, parents and coaches for their time and commitment. Focus will now turn to Scór Na bPaistí and Scór Sinsear after the Christmas break.

Interdivisional: Next Saturday it’s the turn of the U15 Interdivisional teams to take to the field. The club will be represented by Eanna Guilfoyle and Gavin Ryan. Best of luck to the lads and the Mid Division.

Operation Walk Ireland: Our own Tricia Hassett is heading back to Hanoi with Operation Walk Ireland to assist in hip and knee replacements for those that need it most!
