Club Notes 08/10/18

Intermediate: Holycross was the venue last Saturday where our Intermediates had a convincing win over Rockwell Rovers to advance to this years County Semi Final. From the throw in we showed desire and passion and this led to us leading throughout the game. Final score read Moyne Templetuohy 2-10 Rockwell Rovers 0-08. Up next is Grangemockler this coming Saturday with venue and time TBC on Monday evening.

U15: Our U15 Hurlers suffered defeat on Thursday evening last at the hands of Moycarkey Borris in the Mid U15 Semi Final. Our thanks must go to the players and management team for their time.

U13: Our U13 Hurlers finished their year on Saturday afternoon last where they suffered a six point defeat to Boherlahan in the Mid Semi Final. Our thanks to the players and management team for their work this year.

Important Notice: PLEASE NOTE that the GAA field in Templetuohy is still closed. This is due to the upgrading of the pitch lighting. This will be a construction site & no person will be allowed on site. If for some reason you need to go on site pls inform PICW on site & sign on to JSSP or inform the club executive officers. G4MO: Well done to our Gaelic 4 Mothers team who competed in a blitz over the weekend in Dublin. A tremendous weekend was had and the ladies came away with some silverware to make it all the sweeter. Well done ladies!

AGM: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Senior Club will hold its AGM on Friday night November 9th at 8pm in Moyne Hall. All members and parishioners are invited to attend as we prepare for 2019. All motions/nominations to Club Secretary in the coming week.

Scór: SCÓR Meeting for all those interested in Scór Na nÓg in Moyne Hall on Monday night next 8th October at 8pm, so if you are in Secondary School and you are interested in Acting, Singing, Dancing, Music or Quiz brain Scór offers an amazing opportunity to show off your talents. This is the 50th Anniversary of Scór so would be great to have a big representation from the parish.
