Club Notes 18/03/19

By Mark Dunne PRO

U21: Commiserations to our U21 Footballers who were defeated by a strong second half display from South Champions Kilsheelan on Sunday last. A strong and entertaining first half saw us go in a goal down at the break but a string second half display saw us go down 2-18 to 0-08 at the final whistle. Our thanks to the players, management team and supporters for an enjoyable start to the year.

County League: Boherlahan was the venue for the first round of the County League where we suffered a 0-22 to 0-09 loss at the hands of the hosts. Attention will now quickly turn to Round 2 where we face Kildangan this Sunday in Templetuohy at 12noon. Support appreciated.

Scór: Moyne will host this years Mid Scór Na bPaistí A Final this Sunday where we will have representation in solo song, novelty and Quiz. We wish all our acts the very best of luck. Come down and witness all the talents that our primary school children have. On Friday the 22nd we will have representation in both Novelty and Ballad in the B Final. This takes place in Ballycahill at 7pm. All support appreciated.

Tipperary SH: Commiserations to Paul Maher and the Tipperary SH Team who were knocked out to Dublin at the Quarter Final stage of the League.
