Club Notes 24/09/18

Intermediate: A busy week for our intermediate footballers as we were involved in a three way play-off to see who advances to the knockout stages of the Football Championship. On Thursday night last in a rain soaked Dr. Morris Park we were held to 0-9 point a-piece draw against Loughmore. While on Sunday morning we travelled to Cashel to face Moyle Rovers coming away with a 1-09 to 0-03 point victory to see us advance from the group. Further details on the next round will be known during the week.

U15: Our U15 hurlers faced Gortnahoe on Sunday morning last and despite a good game were beaten on a scoreline of 6-11 to 0-06. They now advance to a Semi Final vs Moycarkey with a date and a time TBC.

U13: Our U13’s are in action next Thursday night in the final round of the group stages where they face Durlas Óg at 7pm. Venue to be confirmed during the week.

Important Notice: PLEASE NOTE that the GAA field in Templetuohy will be closed to ALL ie Games, training & walkers as & from next Monday Sept.24th for approx.2 weeks. This is due to the upgrading of the pitch lighting. This will be a construction site & no person will be allowed on site. If for some reason you need to go on site pls inform PICW on site & sign on to JSSP or inform the club executive officers. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Howshecuttin: An 8 week walking programme has been set up in Moyne Athletic Club starting Monday the 1st of October at the track. Cost is €10 plus booking fee. More details available on the poster.
