Our U19s narrowly lost out on a semi final place against Upperchurch Drombane on the score of 1-21 to 1-19. Our Junior hurlers lost to Holycross by the narrowest of margins on Friday. The postponed Premier intermediate match against St Mary’s is now expected to be played Wednesday 6th of September with venue to be decided. Our Intermediate footballers have their final group match this Saturday 2nd in Dundrum.
Juveniles: U5/7/9‘s had a very exciting blitz against Moneygall and Galmoy on Sunday morning and despite the summer rain it was a great morning of fun and games .
U11s played a very competitive challenge match on Wednesday last v Thurles Gaels.
The u13s had visitors from over the border from Urlingford and played a thrilling game against Emeralds on Tuesday last.
U15/U17 both suffered defeat in their championship games v Moycarkey Borris and Upperchurch Drombane, they now await fixtures for the next stage of their respective championships.
Well done to Chris Dunne (Hurling) Jack Reddan and Conor Campion (Football). The boys represented our club excellently in the blue and gold of Tipperary this weekend.
Camogie: On Wednesday evening last our U13’s had their final game in the league. Unfortunately after a great game they did not come out on top against a strong Mullinahone team. Having won 2/3 games they now await their semi final fixture. It was the turn of U11’s on Friday night away to Borrisoleigh, again they put in a great fight but lost out by a few scores, they will play Moneygall in their next round, time and date to be confirmed. Congrats to Saoirse Deegan, Olive Spillane Leane and Ailis Concagh who finished up their time with the U13 County Development squad with an in-house blitz today where each one of them made contributions to their teams. Also congrats to Meabh Leahy and Mary-Kate Ely who both played against Clare with the U15 County Development squad on Saturday where they secured a win. Training continues Wednesday evening. Best wishes to all who have returned and will be returning to school in the coming days.
Ladies Football: Well done to our U10s and U8s who took part in a blitz on Saturday in Kilcommon. The girls had a great morning of football and our thanks to Slieve Felim for hosting.
Mothers and Others had their first game against Thurles Sars on Friday night. Training continues every week and as always all are welcome.
Our Juniors As are out against St. Pats on Tuesday in Templetuohy at 7.30pm.
U19 training resumes on Monday at 7.30pm.
Our U8s will participate in the county blitz in Templemore at 7pm.
