Club Notes 20-02-17

Juvenile AGM: Thanks to all those who attended our AGM Monday night last. Following lengthy discussions the following were elected for the coming year:

U21 Football: Commiserations to our amalgamated U21 Footballers who lost out to Gortnahoe Glengoole in Mid U21B Football Final on Sunday last in Templemore. Final score read Moyne Templetuohy/Thurles Gaels 3-06 Gortnahoe Glengoole 3-10.

Peil: Our U14 Footballers begin their year this Thursday February 23rd against JK Brackens in Mid Peil B Semi Final in Templetuohy at 7.30pm. Support is appreciated.

Inter County: Well done to clubman Thossie Hamill who was part of the Tipperary Senior Hurling team that defeated Waterford in Round 2 of the NHL on Sunday last.

Harty Cup: Well done to Gearoid O’Connor and Shane Lowe who were part of the victorious Our Lady’s team who defeated St. Colman’s in this year Harty Final.

Scór Na bPaistí: Well done to all our representatives who took part in the Mid Semi Final on Sunday afternoon last. We were successful in all competitions with our quiz team narrowly missing out on a Mid Final spot. The Mid Final will take place in Holycross on Saturday March 4th at 7pm. Support is appreciated for our budding young talents.

Scór Sinsear: Any person interested in taking part in the Senior Scór is asked to contact Francis Cleere in the coming days. Senior Scór will be held on March 18th in Newport
