The last result in our Sports prediction quiz run by the juvenile club was the senior hurling county final today and our draw was as close as the match was today. Gary Breen wins the Sports Prediction Quiz (€300), followed by Meabh Leahy in 2nd (€100) and Barry Ryan in 3rd (50). There was a tie for 2nd and 3rd but Meabh had the closest try count in the Rugby World Cup. Well done and thanks all for supporting!

Lotto-Our lotto jackpot rolls over to €10,500 next week-our lucky dip winners were John Sweeney, Majella Ely-online, Martin Flynn-bingo, Tom Murphy-Guilfoyle's.

Junior Football County Quarter final: our junior footballers faced Clonmel Commercials on Saturday. Unfortunately the result did not go our way as Clonmel had a very strong start and we found it hard to recover. Thanks to all players and management for their effort and time all year.

New Year’s Raffle: The Juvenile, Ladies Football and Camogie clubs have joined together to have a New Years Raffle. All funds will be shared equally across each club to support player development, equipment and coaching initiatives into 2024. We will be asking each family to kindly sell a book of tickets. Tickets cost €10 will be distributed to club members next week.

Additional tickets will be available to purchase in Guilfoyle’s, Tigh Maighne and pubs in both villages. We also welcome any sponsorship towards the fantastic prizes on offer. We appreciate your support and maybe one of you could be the lucky winner of these amazing prizes:

1st Prize: 4 night mid-week break at Center Parcs, Longford or €1000 cash equivalent. **Price based on a 3 bed Woodland Lodge from Mon 20th May to Fri 24th May, 2024. * prices may vary at time of draw. 2nd Prize: Samsung 50" CU7100 UHD LED 4K HDR Smart TV - Black or €500 cash equivalent. 3rd Prize: €100 Bourke Sports Voucher

Juveniles: our u17 A footballers had a disappointing result in the opening match of their championship today against Dúrlas Óg in Thurles. Despite Dúrlas Óg being strong opposition it was a game our players were well capable of winning.
Inclusive club training: Next Sat Nov 4th the Juvenile Club are running a course in partnership with Active Disability to provide an information session to support inclusion in sport. Ideal for coaches and those working with children. There are a few places remaining so if interested please message Regina Ely 0877905237. The Juvenile Club received a Sports for All grant which will cover the cost for all participants.
