Lotto-Our lotto jackpot rolls over to €10,900 next week-our lucky dip winners were Phil Dunne & Dominic Everard -Tigh Maighne, Caoimhe Carmody-online, Bridget Loughnane-bingo.

Schools county finals: it has been a week of mixed fortunes for the primary schools in both ends of the parish. Moyne National school’s mixed u13 team thoroughly enjoyed their football county final win over Tankardstown which was made all the sweeter having lost to the same school last year. Holy Family National school, Templetuohy unfortunately did not experience the same fortune with their girls u13 team, but gave it their all on the day against Ballingarry. Both schools will play their girls u11 football finals this Friday and we wish them both the very best of luck. A serious amount of work goes into the promotion of sport in both schools in this parish which also benefits the 3 clubs and we are very grateful for this.

Mid Tipperary GAA Hall of Fame award: our own Willie Fogarty has been honoured with Mid Tipperary’s Hall of Fame award. We as a club are delighted that Willie’s efforts on and off the field for the GAA have been recognised and we would like to congratulate him on receiving such an accolade.

Juveniles: our u17 footballers have qualified for the A midfinal against JK Brackens which has been provisionally fixed for Sunday, December 3rd. Keep an eye on ClubZap for details.

New years raffle: the tickets for the fantastic prizes of a stay in Centre Parcs, a flatscreen HD tv and a Bourke sports voucher, are still available from all members of the Juvenile, camogie and ladies football clubs. They are also available in the shops at both ends of the parish. Please support the 3 clubs by buying a ticket at the cost of €10.

Keep our facilities clean: we are asking all patrons who use our field to walk with their dogs to please ensure that they clean up after them. Likewise, we ask all users to use the bins and not leave rubbish in the Ball wall or anywhere on the premises. We are only too happy to offer the field as a safe place to walk and play but we ask that all users treat it responsibly.
