Moyne Templetuohy senior GAA club has purchased a new defibrillator which is housed in a heated box at the end of the stand near the shop in Templetuohy GAA field.
It is an absolute necessity to have this piece of equipment at hand and we are asking all patrons to respect this valuable piece of property.
The box itself is alarmed and the code to open the box is 112 - this same number can also be used to ring emergency services from a mobile if needed.
We all hope the defibrillator will never be needed but at least if the situation arises we are equipped to deal with it.
New defibrillators were also purchased by the defibrillator group for the parish and we would ask everyone to support the Christmas lights parade next Saturday which will in part fundraise for this group to go towards the cost of these devices.
