County League: Our intermediate hurlers defeated Newport on Tuesday on the scoreline of 2-16 to 1-17. Due to the sad passing of Dinny Kelly all matches and training were postponed this weekend as a mark of respect. Our Intermediate hurlers are due to play Ballina next weekend. Thank you to all who turned out to represent the club in the Guard of Honour for ‘Big Dinny’, the numbers turned out were testament to the high regard the man was held in by our parish.

Juveniles: There was a great turnout for the first night of the “Acres of Fun’ U5 training session. Huge thanks to Mindy, Eileen, Roisin and Mary-Kate for making it such an enjoyable evening for all the boys and girls!!

U15’s played Toomevara GAA on Monday 15th April in a hurling challenge match. Thanks to everyone who travelled and to Toomevara for hosting.

The U15 Peil na nÓg was a great success this weekend with Moyne-Templetuohy playing Grangemockler-Ballyneale GAA, Mullinahone GAA and Ardfinnan GAA in glorious sunshine. The boys made it through to the semi-final in Thurles against Kilsheelan-Kilcash GAA but unfortunately they lost out to a stronger opposition. We wish a speedy recovery to all our players who picked up injuries on the day.
Many thanks to all the teams and referees who held a minutes silence in honour of Dinny Kelly before the games began pictured above.
