Junior footballers: were the first team to begin their championship this year against JK Brackens. Despite a strong second half they lost out in the end on the scoreline of 2.10 to 3.13.
Ladies football: all groups continue to train for upcoming matches and championships. Check ClubZap for fixture details.
Juveniles: U11’s had a very enjoyable trip to Kilkenny on Saturday evening to watch the U20 All Ireland Final. Huge thanks to Bill Ryan , Pat Meade and Jerry Maher for accompanying the boys and girls and looking after them all so well. They went to play Loughmore-Castleiney the following morning in a Go Games hurling match and played very well.
Thanks to Conor Bowe for training the U13’s last Friday evening, they had a great session!
We would also like to wish the best of luck to all doing the junior and leaving cert exams this week.
Camogie: U8’s had their first County blitz on Saturday morning in Portroe, they played three great games.
Our U12’s played Gortnahoe on Sunday morning and unfortunately lost their first game this year, they play Rockwell Rovers Tuesday evening in New Inn.
Our U14’s have their County Semi this evening in St. Patrick’s College V Lorrha, best of luck girls.
