Weekly update : pride of place this week has to go to the pupils of Holy family National School, Templetuohy. History was made by the Templetuohy school teams when they contested an amazing 4 county hurling finals in Semple Stadium during the week and won 3!! Their u13 camogie battled hard and were runners up but their u11 and u13 mixed hurling and u11 camogie teams were all victorious. We thank all the teachers and coaches who give so much of their time to develop our Gaelic games in both schools.

Lotto: our jackpot will be €3,700 next Thursday. The 6 winners of our lucky dips were William Fogarty, Liam Butler, Declan Leahy, Tom Guilfoyle, Mgt Butler and the Thirsty Thursday syndicate.

Football: our Junior footballers won their championship match v Boherlahan Dualla and the Intermediate footballers also won against Thurles Sarsfields in their first championship round.

Camogie: Our U10’s played a mini blitz on Wednesday evening away to Moycarkey Borris, two great games and lots of development.
Our U12’s has a strong game V Templemore yesterday, we had the lead up to the final whistle but Templemore secured a goal resulting in a draw game.
Our U16’s,after a break for exams, return Tuesday evening in their Semi Final away to Portroe, throw in at 19:15. Best of Luck girls.
