Weekly update: Pride of place this week has to go to our u16 camogie team who won their league county final on Wednesday. Congratulations to all involved.

Lotto: our jackpot will be €4,100 next Thursday. The 6 winners of our lucky dips were Declan Leahy, Josefa O'Dwyer, Maria Kelly, Seán Everard, Teresa Lawlor and Faye Guilfoyle.

Fixtures: Our Junior hurlers beat Boherlahan Dualla away in their first round of the mid championship but lost to Moycarkey Borris by one point on Saturday. Our u19’s take on Drom Inch in their first hurling championship round at home on Wednesday. Support would be appreciated.

Camogie: A week to remember, our U16’s gave a mighty performance in the County League Final on Wednesday evening against Kiladangan. Captain Isabella Jones gave an amazing speech highlighting what it means to the girls especially the four U16 girls to win a final and thanked the power of our 10 U14’s that made this team.
Next up was our U12’s who had their County Semi Final against a strong Slieve Felim, they play St. Mary’s, Clonmel in the Cup final next weekend. We had amazing support for the U16’s and U12’s this week and hope the parish gets out to support the U12’s.
Congrats to Olive Spillane Lane who was out in action with the U14 Tipperary Camogie team in Westmeath yesterday. Olive captained the team again and they won the Cup final.
The Temple Bar will host a BBQ and Family Fun Day on August 4th from 3pm in aid of the Camogie Club. Martin Costigan U14 Camogie Tournament and Dads and Lads matches will take place beforehand in GAA field from 12 noon. More details to follow.

Ladies Football: U8 blitz on Monday in Templetuohy, please arrive @ 6.15pm. Have fun girls!
U16 championship Round 2 is against Rockwell Rovers on Wednesday at 7.30pm in Moyne Athletic pitch.
Junior A & D: well done to both teams starting their championship campaign with wins, no Junior fixtures this week but training continues. The Junior panel enjoyed "Bruckana Wellness Day" in Moyne on Saturday where the girls had a positive, mindfulness treat day with lots of tips on self care for their minds and bodies delivered by professionals in psychology, nutrition and health- see social media for more info on this event.
Congrats to the Camogie club who have had numerous successes this week and to all players representing club and county.

Juveniles: On Friday evening last our U7’s were out in action playing both hurling and football against Loughmore - Castleiney GAA in Castleiney. Thanks to Loughmore - Castleiney GAA for hosting and for giving all the children a well deserved treat!!
U13’s had a challenge hurling match against Clonoulty - Rossmore GAA in Templetuohy on Friday night last. Well done to all the boys for a great effort.
U17’s played Gortnahoe - Glengoole GAA in Gortnahoe last Tuesday. The boys came up against a much stronger opposition but they have already regrouped, with big numbers at training on Thursday and hopefully they will drive on from there.
Huge congratulations to the U16 Camogie team who recently won their County Final, super achievement, well done!!
