On behalf of the Moyne-Templetuohy GAA Juvenile Club, I extend our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible generosity and support during our recent fundraiser. We are delighted to announce that, thanks to all your efforts, we raised a remarkable total of €5,562.

As the fundraiser was such a tremendous success, we decided to increase our contribution to The Irish Cancer Society. A total of €2,000 of the funds raised was donated to the Irish Cancer Society, which they have received with much appreciation (see e-mail below). Your contributions will significantly aid their vital work in cancer research, support, and care for those affected by this challenging disease.

From the remaining funds we donated a small amount to the Senior Players Fund as a sign of appreciation for all their support on the day. The remainder will be utilised to support the activities and development of our juvenile club. This fundraiser will help to ensure our young players have access to the best facilities, equipment, and opportunities to grow both on and off the field.

Once again, thank you for your invaluable support. We look forward to your continued involvement in our future endeavours and events.

With sincere thanks,
Jody

Dear Joseph,

Thank you so much for being there and supporting cancer patients and their loved ones across Ireland.

This receipt is confirmation we received your brilliant donation of €2,000.00 on 16/07/2024.

Together, we are working towards a future where nobody dies from cancer, and we are so glad to have you here with us.

Your donation today will make sure we can continue to fund vital world-class cancer research in Ireland.

Here are just some of the ways it will get to work, right away:

  • Your donations mean we can be the single largest voluntary funder of cancer research in Ireland. In 2021 alone, donations like yours meant we could fund 129 cancer researchers across the country in top Irish institutions.
  • Your donations help us focus on a range of cancer types, across a number areas like prevention, early detection, better treatments, clinical trials, and survivorship.
  • Research you help to fund directly increases cancer survival rates and improves the lives of those living well with and beyond cancer. Today, more than 200,000 people are living with and beyond cancer in Ireland.

And much, much more.

It’s your help and kindness that make it all possible. We couldn’t do it without you.

With grateful appreciation,

Averil Power
Chief Executive
