Reminder: Martin Costigan Tournament and Summer BBQ this Sunday August 4th, Templetuohy GAA and The Temple Bar.
We kick off Sunday hosting our first Camogie Tournament. It was proposed in the first year of the club to run this tournament in memory of our dear friend and clubman Martin Costigan. Martin’s nieces are the next generation of Costigan’s in the club and will play in the tournament including his nieces from Nenagh Eire Og. Tournament will kick off at 12 noon and a cup and shield final will take place. The Camogie doesn’t stop there, our U10’s and U12’s will also take to the field and give an exhibition game in between tournament games. Refreshments at the field.
Next to take the field at 2pm will be the Dads and Lads game, serious training and planning has been put into place for this game. Sure to be entertaining.
Finally, all roads will lead to The Temple Bar where they will host their annual summer BBQ, this will be in aid of the Camogie Club. Family fun, music, auction and raffle. Tickets €5 each, can be purchased on the door.
