Moneygall GAA invited our U5’s and U7’s to Moneygall on Saturday morning where they played the host and Loughmore Castleiney GAA in hurling. It was a great morning and all the boys and girls really enjoyed it, especially the stop at Barack Obama Plaza afterwards for some nuggets and chips!! Thanks to Moneygall for providing treats to all the children.
U9 were in action playing football against Boherlahan Dualla GAA and JK Bracken GAA in Boherlahan on Saturday. The boys and girls competed really well! Thanks to the coaches and also to the parents who travelled over.
Well done to our U11 team who had a very competitive hurling challenge against Durlas Óg GAA on Saturday. Each player performed excellently and showed great commitment.
U13’s were out on Tuesday evening in the Mid Hurling Championship against Thurles Gaels GAA. Although they lost by a narrow margin we are very proud of the much improved performance from the boys, keep it up!
The U15 team played Upperchurch Drombane GAA on Thursday evening. The team performed well but were unlucky to concede some goals which lead to them losing in the end. Best of luck to them in the next round.
U17’s played Boherlahan Dualla last Monday night in the Mid Hurling Championship. Despite having a strong first half they struggled against the wind in the second half and lost out by a narrow margin. The team progress to the quarter finals this Monday evening in The Ragg, all support appreciated.
Well done to Jack Guilfoyle and Liam Cleere who represented the club well, playing for Tipperary in the Jim Power tournament in Waterford yesterday.
Conor Campion was also in action with the Tipperary U16 football team who won the Gerry Reilly Shield in Ennis. Well done Conor!
