Lotto: our jackpot will be €5,200 next Thursday. The 6 winners of our lucky dips were Paddy Daly, Kim Ryan, Mary & Seamus Butler, Aaron Patterson, Marie Gleeson and Eileen & Mick (Temple Bar).
Scór na nÓg 2024: A meeting will be held on Monday 30th September in Moyne Hall at 8pm for anyone interested in taking part. All those under 17 on January 1st 2024 are eligible to take part in the competitions of solo singing, ballad group, group music, novelty act, question time and recitation. If you are interested in taking part and unable to attend Monday night please contact Marie (083) 133 7015.
U19 footballers: this determined young team have claimed their place in this year’s county final after a great win over Clonakenny Moneygall on Wednesday last. Their opponents are yet to be confirmed so watch out for the final date on ClubZap.
Juvenile report: The U5’s celebrated their final evening training with the ‘Acres of Fun’ nursery with a Teddy Bears Picnic. Thanks to their coaches Mindy, Eileen and Róisín. Best of luck to Róisín and the Ladies Football team in the county final next Sunday!
Camogie: Congratulations to Isabella Jones, Mary-Kate Ely and Olive Spillane Leane on playing their part with the Ursuline winning the Munster 7’s, it’s great to have three club reps playing, they will now represent Munster in the All-Ireland 7’s. Our U11’s have their end of year blitz next Saturday in Dr.Morris Park and our U8’s and 10’s will have their Festival of Camogie to look forward to the following weekend.
Best wishes to our LGFA Juniors in their County Final next weekend.
LGFA: The u8s and U10s brought their year to a close at the Festival of Football in Templemore yesterday, well-done to all players who showed the great skills they have developed. Thank you to both the players and parents for your dedication all year. Thank you also to all of the coaches with this age-group.
U14s continue to train this week in preparation for their semi final.
All roads lead to Bansha next Sunday for the Junior A County Final at 11.30am. Thank you to all who have helped to decorate our parish and we would encourage everyone to get the flags out and the colours up. Support for the girls on Sunday would be much appreciated, the very best of luck ladies.
