Pride of place this week goes to our Junior A ladies football team who today did the double and added the Junior A championship title to their county league title. There were absolute joyous scenes at the final whistle and the huge amount of supporters who travelled to Bansha revelled in it all. Congratulations to team and management and we now wish them the best of luck as they progress into the Munster junior championship.

Lotto: our jackpot will be €5,300 next Thursday. The 6 winners of our lucky dips were Pat Fanning, Bernie Behan, Jim Quinlan (online) and Marie Gleeson, Gordon Bradish and Marian O'Riordan (bingo).
