Weekly update- Moyne Templetuohy Ladies Football Club received a civic reception award for their 2024 efforts.

Primary Games: well done to Hannah Ryan, representing Holy Family NS, Templetuohy who will take to the field during Tipp's clash with Cork next weekend.

Tipp senior hurling: well done to both Conor Bowe and Gearóid O'Connor who came on for Liam Cahills senior hurling side v Cork on Sunday.

Lotto: Our jackpot will be €8,200 next Thursday. The 6 winners of the lucky dips were Billy Loughnane, Pat Maher, William Fogarty, Eva Ralph and Anna Fogarty.

Camogie: U15 Fèile: On Monday last  we played the semi final of the County Fèile Vs Silvermines. We were thrilled to win this game and progress to the final against Templemore, as games were only 15 mins aside in the final scores were important and the girls put in a mighty effort but sadly lost by 2 points. Every player got plenty of game time and all put in super effort over the group and final stages. But not all was lost as we were the best placed team in the County, so the girls go through to the Regional finals in June in Cork. U8’s and U10’s both took part in their first cluster blitzes of the year and were super, Our U12’s played two games this week in their competition and secured two wins so are currently topping their group. We were represented by Molly Jones, Lucy Ely, Kate Concagh and Hannah Ryan with the Tipperary U14 squads on Saturday in their first round where they all played their part to give Tipp great wins against Kilkenny.

Ladies Football: There are some changes to days and venues for training this week so keep an eye on Clubzap.
Adult: Both Intermediate and Junior teams have now concluded their league games for this year and look to prepare for championship which doesn't commence until July.
Date for your Diary: The Ladies Football Annual Sponsored Walk will take place in the GAA Field on Monday May 12th at 6.30 and will finish with a raffle and auction at 8pm. All donations of prizes are greatly appreciated.
Best of luck to Ava Ryan and the Tipperary Ladies who begin their championship campaign today.
Special Thanks to Cllr Willie Kennedy & Tipperary County Council who presented our LGFA club with a Civic Award for the clubs growth and success in 2024 in the Templemore Arms on Thursday night. It was a great night and an honour for our club to receive such a prestigious award.

Juveniles: Moyne-Templetuohy GAA hosted Drom & Inch GAA and Thurles Gaels GAA on Friday evening last for an U11 Football Blitz.

U13s ended their involvement in the Football Championship on Saturday evening. Despite losing out in the final minutes of the game, the boys played out of their skin and we are all so proud of them all.

The Football Championship also comes to an end for the U15s who played Gortnahoe-Glengoole GAA in the Qtr Final on Thursday night. They now turn their attention to preparing for the upcoming Féile and Hurling Championship which takes place later in the year. Thanks to all the boys and coaches for all their commitment to date.

Great to see so many of our coaches undertake First Aid training in Moyne Hall on Wednesday night. Thanks to Anne Burke for facilitating.

This week saw over 60 of our juvenile players have great fun at the GAA Easter Camp. Big thanks to Mindy Doyle and head coach Helen Cleere who did a mighty job looking after everyone for the 3 days.

Well done to Jack Guilfoyle who represented the club on the Tipperary U15 panel on Saturday against Waterford.

Best wishes to Mark Ryan on his summer travels, he will be greatly missed by everyone particularly the under 17 team.
