Weekly update: Club awards night 2025- The club’s annual awards night was held alongside our table quiz in Quinlan’s pub last night.  Receiving the Ricky Fogarty memorial trophy for Young player of the year was Cormac Deegan, receiving the Frank Guilfoyle memorial trophy for senior player of the year was Liam Butler and receiving the Martin Costigan memorial trophy for club person of the year was Áine Guilfoyle.  We’d also like to congratulate Lucy Doyle and Órlaith Ryan on receiving the ladies Football Intermediate and Junior awards which were also presented on the night. Thanks to Quinlan’s for hosting, to Jim O’Meara for writing the questions and to Mark Dunne our quiz master on the night. Thanks to all who supported our table quiz, corrected the answer sheets and helped out in any way on the night.

5-a-side tournament: today’s 5-a-side tournament in aid of The Dillon Quirke Foundation and The Children’s Grief Centre, Limerick was a huge success. Sincerest thanks to all who made the entire day a massive success. The players committee, spear-headed by Mark Ryan and Ciarán Lloyd, got tremendous support from the parish and beyond with over 38 teams registering to play. The day would not have been the success it was without the help of Paul Kelly, Mark Dunne, Marie and Dolores in the shop, Dermot and Tom Hassett on commentary, volunteers who did the stewarding and refereeing and to Cathal Ely for the food and Úna Ryan who fed a nation!
