Both Ireland Lights up and the ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’ continues and the lights in our field in Templetuohy will be on every Tuesday and Friday from 7-8.30pm. All are welcome to walk or run in a safe environment, but we ask people to be aware of the various surfaces we have on the track and to please clean up after their dogs if bringing them on a lead. Scór na nÓg: Congratulations to our Scór na nÓg Tráth na gCeist quiz team who gave an outstanding performance in the All Ireland Final this weekend in Killarney. They finished in an excellent 7th place. The team is made up of Jack Guilfoyle, Jamie Blake, Ailís Concagh and Lily Kinahan. They have put hours of work into the quiz since October under the brilliant guidance of Jim O’Meara and Francis Cleere. Well Done!
Scor na bPaistí: auditions will be held in Templetuohy hall on Wednesday 28th January at 7pm for primary school children from 4th to 6th class. We are hoping to enter a Music Group, Ballad Group, Solo Song, Quiz Team, Novelty Act and Recitation. Camogie: Congratulations to Molly Jones and Olive Spillane Leane who were both out in action with the Tipperary U16’s this weekend in Munster Finals. Molly lined out with the U16A team who won the U16A final and Olive lined out with the U16B’s in the Shield Final and were also victorious.
