Both our U12 teams began their respective championship over the weekend. Unfortunately victories were to elude both teams but they can be proud of their efforts.

First up were our Group 5 team who took on JK Brackens in Templemore and despite a good start to the game, it would be the JK Brackens goals that won the game for them. Final score in Templmore was Moyne Templetuohy 1-01 JK Brackens 4-02.

Next up were our Group 3 Footballers who travelled to Pairc Na nÓg to take on a strong Durlas Óg team. A thrilling same ensued as both teams provided the spectators with a cracking game of football. However victory was not to be as a late goal from Durlas Óg put 4 points between the tams at the end. Final score in Pairc Na nÓg was Moyne Templetuohy 3-06 Durals Óg 3-02
