Senior Hurling Championship: Moyne Templetuohy began their senior hurling championship on Saturday evening last with a well-deserved draw against Burgess. The game was end to end with some fantastic scores and despite conceding three goals, we fought back to secure a late draw thanks to the accurate free taking by our full forward Jason Bergin. Attentions now turn to the next round with an exciting game in prospect against Mid rivals Holycross Ballycahill. This game is fixed for the weekend of the 23rd/24th of April.
Draw the Joker: Jackpot of €6600 was not won this week. It's €6800 with 7 cards on the board next week. Winners this week were €100 Sarah Davy, €25 Mary Fox and €25 Mary Dwyer. Tickets can be bought from any Moyne/Templetuohy GAA committee member or any shop or pubs in the parish and the Post Office in Templetuohy.

Membership: Membership is now overdue for this year. We ask all members to pay Hugh Coghlan ASAP.

Juvenile Gear: Moyne Templetuohy Juvenile Club will be ordering gear for any person who is interested. Forms will be handed out to the schools. You are asked to write on the reverse of the flyer what item you wish to purchase along with the quantity. Payment will be required on ordering and all forms can be handed back to Lorraine Taylor or Pat O’Connor.

Denis Dunne RIP: Moyne Templetuohy was saddened to hear of the recent death of Denis Dunne RIP. Denis won many medals through-out his career. He captained the county final team of ’64 when they defeated Carrick Davins. He was also part of the intermediate team who won the county final in ’65. Denis was also on the winning panel for County Senior Final in’71 and the Mid panels of ’70 and ’72. Furthermore he won an All-Ireland Intermediate Final medal with Tipperary in 1966. May he Rest in Peace.
