The club would like to extend it’s sincerest sympathy to the Everard family and extended family members on the passing of Johnny. Johnny was a man steeped in the traditions of the GAA. He worked hard at every level of our club; playing, coaching and administration. A high point undoubtedly being a selector of the 1971 senior hurling county final winning team. His highlight at county level had to be the winning of an All-Ireland hurling medal in 1950.

As a Life President of our club his achievements will always be remembered.
