Senior Hurling: Our Senior hurlers took on Toomevara in the last game of the County Senior Hurling Championship. Unfortunately victory eluded as we fell to a 2-23 to 1-15 defeat. Their attention now turns to the first round of the Mid Championship which will take place shortly against Drom/Inch.
Minor Hurling: Well done to our amalgamated team of Moyne Templetuohy Thurles Gaels who defeated Boherlahan Dualla by the narrowest of margins in the Mid Tipperary Minor B Football semi-final on Thursday evening last. They now go through to the Mid Final where they will play Upperchurch Drombane. Well done to all concerned.
U12: Commiserations to both our U12 teams who lost their respective Mid Finals on Saturday last. In wet and cold conditions both teams gave it everything they had but unfortunately success eluded them. Their attention will now turn to the hurling Championship which will begin in the coming weeks.
Sympathy: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club extends its sincere sympathy to the Ely Family Moyne on the sudden death of Mary. Our condolences go to her husband Pat, sons Cathal, Mark and Ronan and the entire Ely family. May she rest in peace.
