The boys have done it again! 2 mid titles in 3 days for the juveniles. Tonight was the turn of the u13 boys but they had to do it the hard way. Having led most of the way throughout, a valiant Moycarkey Borris team brought the game to extra time. Frantic to and fro ensued with the Moyne Templetuohy boys coming out on top by just a point at the end of extra time!
Jubilant scenes followed at the final whistle. To be fair to Moycarkey Borris the match could have gone either way with chances missed, super saves and crossbars being hit at both ends.
Well done to all involved tonight. It was great to see the joy as the captain Leo Cleere lifted the cup. The boys now face Aherlow -Lattin in Lisfernane next Tuesday evening in the county semi final. 🟢🟡🏆
