The club will run its Drive-in-bingo for two more weeks but then has reluctantly made a decision to call a halt to it after our last night which will be Thursday August 19th.
We have enjoyed our Thursdays in the field and would like to thank all our loyal bingo players for their camaraderie since our first night on June 10th. We would also like to thank all the volunteers from our club who turned up week in week out to sell books and tickets, park cars and call back numbers in all types of weather. We are also indebted to the hall committee who kindly allowed us the use of their bingo equipment and called the numbers every Thursday.
Unfortunately the revenue being made was simply not enough to warrant further investment of time and money But we are appealing to all locals who may not have had the chance to play yet to come on down to the field for these last 2 weeks where our jackpot is still up to €2800 and our joker jackpot this week is €3500-so lots of money to be won.
