Our u15 boys added to their haul of silverware this season by adding the title of county Peil champions to their collection this afternoon. The team contested the firat rounds yesterday in Dundrum beating Knockavilla Kickhams and Kiladangan.
The boys then overcame their county final opponents, Moneygal Clonakenny, in the semi-final on a scoreline of 5-5 to 2-4.
St. Pat’s Drangan were the opposition in the final, a match which got off to a very slow start with both sides displaying a nervous disposition. The half time score was 0-3 to 0-2 to Moyne Templetuohy. A goal then came St Pat’s way but Moyne Templetuohy kept their cool and popped the points over the bar to come away as victors on a scoreline of 0-12 to 1-3. Well done to all involved.
