The Senior, Ladies football and Juvenile clubs are bringing paramedic Richard Quinlan on Thursday 30th from 7.30-9pm to the GAA field in Templetuohy to deliver a first aid awareness presentation.

An incident at a recent game in our field between 2 visiting clubs, where a player collapsed and needed emergency action to clear his airway highlighted the need to raise awareness and improve our knowledge here.

The event is also open to all interested individuals, coaches and parents. We just request that you inform Tim Bergin of your interest in attending on (087) 978 5857. Please note that while this course is uncertified it is a free event aimed at promoting an awareness of basic first aid within our club and will be very worthwhile.
