The My Life steps challenge, which required the club to collectively walk 4000km finished yesterday. We’re delighted to report that there were 5886km recorded by the club and the 35 walkers who registered their steps, which is a fantastic amount in a short period of time.

Aside from the steps challenge there were brilliant numbers in the field every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and it was lovely to see the children bringing their hurleys and balls too while their parents used the walkway.

The lights will continue to be on Mondays and Thursdays from 7pm as training has resumed in earnest. And the public are always welcome to walk in the field (at their own risk) whenever they wish. It was a fantastically safe place to walk these last few weeks with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere-long may this last.
