We had a busy few weeks in the Camogie Club. Our U8’s represented our Club for the first time in the Festival of Camogie held in Cahir last weekend. They took part and enjoyed three games on the day. The girls proudly waved the green and gold and paraded the 40 year old club parade flag around. Thanks to the GAA club for giving us this flag for this occasion.
As the U12 Championship came to a successful end, the girls have been competing in the U13 League and we were able to give older girls the opportunity to play Camogie. The girls have played Annacarty, St.Pat’s and Ballingarry and competed really well.
Our U11’s have also competed in the U11 League and have played Thurles Sars and Gortnahoe. Again, really impressive skills, scoring and determination shining through. They play Holycross next week.
Our U6’s and U8’s have finished training for the moment and we would like to thank the coaches, families and most importantly our future stars for their support and commitment this year, keep the practising up at home.
