by Jody Sweeney-Chairman of the juvenile club and coach of the u9’s:

Despite the bad weather conditions, this didn’t stop us from finishing out our Winter League this morning. What a great end we had. Super games by all 6 teams. At the end it was Cheese & Crackers who came out on top followed closely by Green Machines. The captain of Cheese & Crackers,Tommy Cleary, came forward to receive the Juvenile Winter League Cup. All the children performed so well throughout the league. You should be all super proud of them and they well deserved their selection boxes and various treats after the games. Thanks to all the coaches for making this happen.
Special thanks to our chief referee for the league Mark Campion who did a supreme job keeping all the kids and coaches (😂) under control. Well done Mark.

The 5 girls pictured above also had their last training session with the juvenile club so we would just like to wish Lucy, Molly, Kate, Grace and Gráinne well in their future playing careers with the club’s LGFA and camogie teams.

This brought a close to our Juvenile training for u9’s and u11’s in 2022. The kids have come on so much over the last 12 months, they are really putting in a serious effort week in and out and I think they well deserve their break.

Thanks to all coaches for their great work throughout the year. Your dedication and time is very much appreciated.

To all parents, we really do appreciate your patience and commitment to the Juvenile club. Thank you for bringing the children to all the training and the games. Its fair to say you are probably looking forward to the break also.☺️

For now, all the best and I wonder is it too early to wish you all a Happy Christmas…… not at all, Happy Christmas
