Senior Club:

*Congratulations*: to Gearóid O Connor and Conor Bowe who made a huge impact on Tipperary’s senior hurling match against Waterford on Saturday evening. They face Antrim next weekend in Belfast and we wish the boys and their teammates the best of luck.
*Lotto*: Our lotto jackpot rolls over to €7200 next week-our 4 lucky dip winners were AnnMarie Meehan-online, Anja Hogan-Bingo, Peg Moore-bingo and Willie Kennedy-yearly ticket who each win €25. Tickets can still be bought locally and online through ClubZap/our website, €2 or 3 for €5.

*Premier Intermediate hurling*: our first round of the county hurling league takes place at home against Newport on Patrick’s Day at 12pm. We wish all involved the very best for the match and the season to come.

*Membership*: is due for all clubs at present. It is essential that all players are insured to train and play. Matches begin in earnest this week and players must have paid their registration to play/train. This is payable through ClubZap for the senior and juvenile clubs (see news article on ClubZap for info). Ladies football membership is payable through Foireann and Camogie membership is payable directly to the officers with forms available at training.

Juvenile Club

U17's had another victory today overcoming Kilurane McDonaghs, by 2points.

U13s continued their pre-season training with a very exciting match against Clonakenny before their opening game of the championship on Saturday 18th-see fixtures on ClubZap for details.

Camogie

Our U14’s kicked off their U14 Championship with an impressive win away to Carrick Swans today. Well done to the girls, their mentors and parents for travelling such a long way but it was worth it. They may have their second game at home later this week against Mullinahone.

Congrats to Meadbh Leahy and Mary-Kate Ely on both their wins representing the club in their first games with the Tipperary U15 squad this weekend.

U10 training will start back Wednesday evening at 6pm and training continues Wednesday evening for U12, U14 and U16.

Ladies Football

The ladies football season officially got underway this weekend. Hard luck to both the U17s and Junior C‘s who were defeated in their games against Arravale and Brian Borus. In very tough conditions both teams gave it their all but it wasn’t their day. Thanks also to all the girls who togged out for both matches today!

Congratulations to Cathy Hogan who captained University of Galway’s Ladies Football to winning the Yoplait Ladies HEC Lagan Cup Final on Wednesday.

Well done to Bláthnaid Lloyd and PJ Ryan on their win against Limerick today with the Tipperary U16’s.

Hard luck to Niamh Ryan and Ellen Moore on losing out on a place in the final of the Lynch Cup on Friday with their college team MTU.

Hard luck also to Helen, Eva, Anna and Ava and the Tipperary Minor Ladies Football team who were narrowly defeated by Kerry in their match on Saturday.

Training continues for the U17s, U14s and U12s on Monday. And Junior training continues this Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
