Just to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported our sponsored walk today. Whether you sponsored a prize, sold lines, donated to the auction, bought a line, gave a donation or came to walk, we are so appreciative of all the support for our Ladies Football Club. We do not have a final total as there is still money coming in but the event was a huge success and will ensure that our club has a very healthy balance for the year ahead.
The money goes towards paying for equipment, footballs, first aid, fees and sometimes treats after matches etc.

In the Auction a €200 Maher Quarries voucher donated by Tom Maher was bought by Gerry Maher, a signed Tipperary Men's Football Jersey donated by Elaine Harte was bought by Dolores and Johnny Gleeson, a signed Men's Hurling Jersey was bought by Sarah Everard and the €200 one for all voucher sponsored by lowquotes.ie was bought by Richie Daly. If anyone still has a sponsorship card, these can still be handed into Tigh Maighne or Guilfoyle's or given to any Coach at LGFA training.

Miriam Everard of Templetuohy Foods presented the new jerseys which they sponsored to some of our Junior players. The Ladies Football Club then presented Miriam with a framed no- 21 Jersey in recognition of the 21 years of loyal sponsorship from Templetuohy Foods. We are very grateful for their constant support.

A huge thank you to all who helped out for the walk in anyway. The money will help to fund our 150 girls and women to play football for the year ahead. The event was a lovely sociable occasion and a great success !
