Under 19’s lost to Drom Inch last Wednesday.
Well done to our Junior B hurlers who drew with Drom Inch on Monday. Our Premier Intermediate team lost to Cashel in Holycross on Sunday in their first round of the county championship.
Development: we are asking all patrons to be careful when entering the club grounds in Templetuohy this week as there is new tarmac being put down and we are asking all to avoid driving near the old dressing rooms until it is completed.
Camogie: Training will continue Wednesday evening for U6-U12. Our U16’s have their first game in the U16 Championship on Wednesday evening V St.Cronan’s, Roscrea in Templetuohy at 7:30, all support greatly welcome.
Juveniles: U7‘s had a great football blitz in Boherlahan Saturday morning last against Loughmore Castleiney and Boherlahan Dualla. Thanks to Boherlahan for hosting. U11s had an excellent hurling challenge match Saturday morning against Fenians Johnstown. This team has a big trip to Páirc Uí Chaoímh this coming Thursday to participate in a Munster football blitz. We wish them well. Our U13s and U15s lost out to Drom and Inch and Boherlahan Dualla during the week. Our U13s play Loughmore Castleiney this coming Tuesday in Castleiney for their last game of the championship.
Ladies Football: Congrats and well done to our U12 girls who played at half time Saturday evening in Semple Stadium. It was such a great experience and honour for the girls to get to play in our county grounds and we are very proud.
Well done to our U11’s who had a great morning in Cahir on Saturday at their blitz. They had a great morning of football getting to play multiple teams and really enjoyed it.
Hard luck to the U16s who had a tough game on Saturday evening against Clonmel Commercials. It wasn’t their day unfortunately but concentration now turns to training hard and pushing on for the next game.
Well done also to our Junior A team who had an excellent start to their championship on Sunday against Sliabh na mBan. The girls were the stronger side coming out on top on a score line of 5-14 to 0-5. No rest for the wicked as their next round against Loughmore is this Wednesday evening at 7.45pm in Castleiney. Our Junior D’s first round against Rockwell Rovers is fixed for Monday 7th August at 5pm in New Inn.
