Juveniles: Our u15/u17 teams crossed the border to Kilkenny to play very competitive matches v Lisdowney and Emeralds. The u11‘s have a blitz in Semple Stadium on Tuesday, a very exciting experience for them to play in our field of dreams. Fixtures for our juveniles will be on clubzap. A special mention to Conor Campion, who captained the u15 Tipperary football team yesterday in the final in Abbotstown, unfortunately the result didn’t go their way but a fantastic achievement for Conor. Sincere thanks to all who supported our Cúl camp. Thanks especially to Mindy, Regina and Jody for all their organisation behind the scenes and to Guilfoyle's for the treats on the final day.
Camogie: Our U16’s played a very strong game Vs Gortnahoe in their Championship last Wednesday however the scoreline didn’t reflect their work rate and efforts. They play Lorrha away on Wednesday evening in the last round of the Championship. Our U10’s also had a Challenge Game V Borrisoleigh on Wednesday night and they played great Camogie!
Our U13’s had an impressive win in the first round of their league on Thursday evening away to Moneygall, they will play Nenagh in the next round. Well done to all teams this week. Training resumes Wednesday evening after a break following a great week at Cùl Camp last week.
Ladies football: Well done to Saoirse Deegan who refereed a game at half time today in Croke Park at the All Ireland Final. She did a super job and did us proud.
Both our Junior teams have championship games this week. The Junior As are playing Arravale Rovers on Sunday morning in Templetuohy while the Junior Ds face Thurles Sarsfields - time and date tbc.
Our U16s are in the county final against Ballyporeen on Saturday, time and venue have yet to be fixed. The very best of luck girls!
