Club Notes 02/10/17

Minor: Our minor’s incredible year continues with the double still in contention as they saw of a spirited Anner Gaels side in the County Minor B Semi Final on Saturday afternoon last. A terrific performance saw Moyne Templetuohy Thurles Gaels run out 4-13 to 1-07 winners. The County Final is scheduled for next weekend, with all details known after Monday night’s CCC. We call on the entire parish to show their support and colour for this fantastic group of lads who are in both the Hurling and Football County Finals.

Intermediate: On Sunday last our interest in this year’s Intermediate Championship came to an end. A spirited performance which saw a late comeback was unfortunately not enough to see our lads progress to the County Semi’s. Our sincere thanks to the football management and players for their time and effort they have shown this year.

U11: On Saturday morning last our U11 Hurlers lost out to a lively JK Brackens in the Mid U11 Group 3 Shield Final. On the day David Doyle, Cathal Guilfoyle and Ben Moore all played well. Hard luck to all concerned.

U13: Saturday next sees our U13 Hurlers take to the field in the Mid U13 Group 3 Final in Templetuohy where they take on JK Brackens. Confirmation of time will be known on Monday evening. Your Support would be very much appreciated.

Scór: Auditions for Scór Na nÓg have commenced any person interested is asked to contact Anne Marie Maher or Francis Cleere ASAP.

Sympathy: Following this month’s meeting sympathies were passed to the families of Margaret Kelleher (Boherlahan), Ronan Fanning, Jim Corry and Pat Mullaney. May they Rest in Peace.
