Club Notes 11/06/18

Intermediate Hurlers: Our intermediates good run of form continued on Wednesday evening last where they faced a determined Ballinahinch side in Templetuohy in the County League. A good all-round display saw them running out 2-18 to 1-13 victors. The County League continues this Wednesday night where we face Cashel King Cormacs at 8pm in Templetuohy. All support appreciated.

Junior: Our Juniors recorded their first win of the football championship, with a 4-13 to 2-11 win over Thurles Gaels on Saturday evening last. Their attention now turns to the small ball with an away game to Knock on Saturday night next at 7.30pm in Clonmore. All support appreciated.

Cúl Camp: As summer times approaches booking are now available for Cúl Camp 2018. The camp will run in Templetuohy from August 6th to August 10th inclusive and all bookings can be made online at: We urge all members to book online in the coming week to ensure sufficient gear is ordered on time.

U12’s: Our U12 Group 2 team’s game was postponed this week however our Group 5 team had 1-05 to 0-00 win over Boherlahan in Templetuohy. This week sees our Group 2 team face Drom in Drom on Tuesday at 7pm. Our Group 5 team travel to Drombane on Wednesday evening where they face Upperchurch at 7pm.

U14: Our U14’s begin their Hurling Championship this week where they face Boherlahan in Templetuohy on Thursday evening at 7pm.

Community Games: Well done to all club personnel who took part in the  Community Games County Final on Sunday last in Moyne Athletic Track. A fantastic day’s athletics took place. Well done to all the organisers and stewards however a particular word of thanks to Leona Doyle for reviving the community games in the parish. Well done Leona.

Draw the Joker: Our jackpot of €5,600 was won last Thursday night. The lucky winner was David Collins with the ticket sold by our groundsman Paddy Kelly. Our draw returns to €2000 next Thursday night. A sincere thanks to all those who support the joker week in week out your support is greatly appreciated.
