Club Notes 12/02/18


Card Game: A sincere thanks to all those who attended our Annual 25 Card game held in Templetuohy Hall last Wednesday evening. A further thanks must go to all those who sold or bought tickets, donated confectionary or assisted on the night. All proceeds collected will now be split between both the Juvenile and Ladies Football Clubs. These funds will help both clubs run smoothly for 2018.

U21 Football: On a bitterly cold Saturday evening last our U21 Footballers defeated Boherlahan Dualla in Round 2 of the Mid U21B Football Championship. With two wins from two, we now wait to see results of other games to decide whether Round 3 or a straight final will take place. Details will be communicated via social media throughout the week.

Table Quiz: Thurles Gaels GAA Club will hold their annual table quiz on Friday Night March 2nd in the Monks Pub, Thurles commencing at 9pm. Our amalgamated Minor Footballers will be presented with their medals on the night. All club support is greatly appreciated.

Féile: First fixtures for our Juveniles have been released and we begin our year with our U14 Hurlers taking on Dúrlas Óg in the Mid U14B Féile Quarter Final. This game will take place in Pairc Na nÓg on Saturday February 17th at 11am and your support would be appreciated.

Membership: That time of year again folks as membership is now due. All Senior Membership can be given to Hugh Coughlan or any committee member ASAP. Prices as follows: €50 Adult Player, €25 Under 21 Player and €20 Non-Players

Sympathy: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club would like to extend its sincere sympathy to the Mullaney family Moyne on the death of Johnny RIP. Johnny lined out a full forward in County Junior winning team of 1961 who defeated Lorrha. Johnny played at all levels for the club and was always highly regarded amongst his fellow players.
