Intermediate: As they end of the Inter County scene draws near, our Intermediates have ramped up preparation ahead of the forthcoming championship. They played one challenge last weekend and have one more remaining this week. Our thanks to Shannon Rovers for the game on Saturday evening last.
Junior: Our Juniors were involved in the game of the year thus far, when extra time was required to separate them from Clonakenny in the Mid Junior B Semi Final on Wednesday last to see them advance to the Mid Final against either Killea or Drom/Inch. Their attention turns to Football where they face Clonmel Óg tomorrow Tuesday in Boherlahan at 7.15. All support appreciated.
Minor: Our minors continue their preparation ahead of their Mid Semi Final this coming Thursday evening at 7pm in the Ragg where they face Upperchurch Drombane. All support appreciated.
Juvenile: While all our juvenile teams have exited their respective championships, they continue training ahead of the upcoming shield which will begin next week.
Ladies Football: Our U17 Ladies team had a hard earned draw tonight in the Summer League. They suffered defeated last night at the hands of Fethard and have one more game remaining tomorrow Tuesday in Templetuohy at 7.30pm.
Cúl Camp: Although the weather may have cut their final say short, over a 100 children had a superb week where they got to meet three intercounty hurlers in Gearoid O’Connor, Andrew Ormand and Jason Forde. Our sincere thanks to the coaches and in particular head coach Mark Ryan who did a superb job all week. Thanks also to Mindy Doyle and Una Ryan for coordinating the camp all week. Finally thanks to Guilfoyles for the much deserved treats at the end of the week.
Intercounty: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club would like to wish our own Paul Maher and the Tipperary Senior Hurlers the very best of luck this coming Sunday as they go in search of the coveted Celtic Cross medal. Best of luck Paul!
Decorations: Our sincere thanks to all those who assisted in putting up bunting at both ends of the parish. The two villages as well as the houses in the parish have been transformed into a sea of Blue and Gold. Our thanks to all those who sponsored the bunting etc.
Defibrillator Run: Moyne Templetuohy Defibrillator Group is running a 5km fun run/walk to raise much needed funds for the upkeep of the defibrillators in the parish. These are vital piece of equipment in the parish and we urge you to show your support in any way possible. The run takes place on September 1st at 12noon at Moyne Athletic Track.
Leaving Cert Results: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club would like to wish all its Leaving Cert members the very best of luck tomorrow in receiving their results. Remember there’s always more than one road to your final destination. Best of luck
