Club Notes 15-01-17

Annual Quiz Night: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club will hold their Annual Table Quiz along with its Annual Presentation Night this Saturday night January 20th at 9.30pm in Everard’s Pub Templetuohy. A table of 4 is €40 and we ask all parishioner for their support. Following the quiz our Annual Presentation night where Club Person of the Year along with Player of the Year will be presented. All are very much welcome on the night.

Club Development: With commencement on the construction of Astro Turf at the Ball Wall due to begin in the coming days, the club will begin collecting tickets which were distributed before the Christmas Break. All those who received books of tickets to sell are asked to please return to either Dominic Everard (Development Committee) or Mark Dunne (PRO) in the coming days. Please note it is very important that the stubs be returned as these must be logged online for a chance to win in the draw. The Club would like to sincerely thank all those who purchased and sold tickets over the past few weeks.

U21 Football: Our first round of the football championship takes place this coming Saturday January 20th at 3pm in Templetuohy. We take on reigning Mid Champions Gortnahoe Glengoole and your support as always is invaluable.

Harty Cup: Mixed fortunes this week for our representatives on the local Harty Cup teams. Thurles CBS lost narrowly to Middleton CBS while Our Lady’s had a point to spare over John the Baptists. Commiserations to Conor Bowe, Jack Taylor and Kieran Larkin who were part of the Thurles CBS panel and to their manager Theo Llyod. We wish Gearoid O’Connor and Shane Lowe all the best in the Harty Semi Final vs Middleton CBS.

Draw the Joker: Jackpot of €3600 was not won last week. This week its €3700 with 36 cards left on the board. Your support as always is much appreciated. Tickets can be bought from Guilfoyles, the Post Office or any pub in the parish. Tickets may also be purchased from any committee member
