Draw the Joker: Jackpot of €2700 was not won this week. It’s €2800 with 45 cards on the board next week. Winners this week were €100 Tony Lowe, €25 Katie Collins and €25 Mary Williams. Tickets can be bought from any Moyne/Templetuohy GAA committee member or any shop or pubs in the parish and the Post Office in Templetuohy.
Cúl Camp: This year’s Cúl Camp will take place on the week of August 8th – 12th inclusive. Forms etc. will be distributed at training in the coming weeks. Parents can also book their children in online at: https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/. Parents are also advised to note that the camp will take place from 10am to 1pm every day. Please make sure your child is registered this week to ensure sufficient gear etc. is ordered. Any queries please contact Pat.
Field Activity: Moyne Templetuohy GAA club would like to thank all those who helped out in the field last Saturday. Thanks to all those who brought down their tractors and chain saws.
Junior Hurling: Congratulations to our Junior Hurlers who had a fine win over JK Brackens on Saturday evening last. Final score in Templemore read Moyne Templetuohy 4-14 JK Brackens 3-08.
Minor Hurling: Congratulations to our minor hurlers who recorded a comprehensive victory over Thurles Sarsfields. Final score read Moyne Templetuohy/Thurles Gaels 0-16 Thurles Sarsfields 1-07. They now play Upperchurch Drombane this Wednesday night August 27th in Drombane at 7.30pm.
U14: Our U14 Hurlers have now qualified for Mid U14C Hurling Final. This game is provisionally booked for August 13th in Holycross. Similar to the football final they will take on Thurles Gaels in what promises to be a fantastic game of hurling. Your support for this group of players would be very much appreciated.
All-Ireland Semi Final: All ticket orders for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Semi Final vs Galway are to be with Tom Hassett by Sunday next July 31st.
Long Puc: Best wishes to Gearoid O’Connor who represents both Tipperary and Munster in the U16 All-Ireland Long Puc Final this coming Saturday July 30th in the Cooley Mountains.
