Club Notes 27-11-17

Senior AGM: Moyne Templetuohy Senior Club will hold their AGM this coming Friday night December 1st at 8pm in Templetuohy Hall. All members welcome as we look forward to planning for 2018.

Juvenile AGM: Following last week’s Juvenile AGM, treasurer Johnny Gleeson stepped down after 9 years in the role. Those present paid their thanks to his 9 years of service. We wish Johnny all the best in his future endeavours. Officers elected were as follows: Chairman: Willie Bergin, Secretary: Una Ryan, Treasurer: TBC, PRO: Mark Dunne. Thanks to all those who turned up on the night.

Inter-Divisional: A busy weekend of Inter Divisional Hurling saw many of our young stars take to the field. Well done to Éanna Guilfoyle and Gavin Ryan who were part of the victorious Roger Ryan Shield team. Well done to Ciarán Llyod who was part of the victorious Garda Cup panel. Commiserations to Cormac Deegan who was of the Peader Cummins team who lost out to the West in the Cup Final.

Scór: Well done to all our Scór acts who took to the stage last Saturday night in the Mid Final. Congratulations to our Ballad Group who were crowned Mid Champions. Well done also to our Novelty Group who finished runners up. Hard luck to our Solo Song and Music Group who were unsuccessful on the night but they can be very proud of their efforts. Well done all

Quiz: Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club will hold the Best Club in the Parish Quiz in Quinlan’s Bar Moyne on December 2nd at 10pm. This is a free event where all clubs in the parish get to represent themselves. Any queries you are asked to contact Hugh Coughlan.

Minor: With all other teams finished for the year our Minor Footballers remain training ahead of their County Final where they will face Kilruane McDonaghs. Fixture details were not at hand at time of going to print.
