Club Notes 28/01/19

Mid Awards Night: Saturday night last was a hugely successful one for the Club where we collected two awards at the Mid Board Awards night. Louis Everard picked up the Mid Senior Footballer Award after having a terrific year for the club. While the club also picked up the Intermediate Club of the Year award for 2018. Our thanks to all those who made this possible.

U21: Commiserations to our U21 Footballers who had a three point defeat at the hands of Gortnahoe Glengoole on Sunday last. Despite being four points up early in the second half we succumbed to a strong Gortnahoe finish.  Attention now turns to the must win game vs Holycross in two weeks time.

Minor: Our Minor Footballers are back in action this weekend coming where they face Gortnahoe Glengoole on Sunday at 2pm in Templetuohy. All support appreciated.

National Club Draw: All members/parishioners who have received National Club Draw tickets are asked to return them ASAP as each ticket needs to be logged on to the GAA website in the coming days. If people still wish to purchase tickets hay may do so from any club member.

Card Game: This years annual Card Game in conjunction with both the Ladies Football and Juvenile Clubs will take place on February 13th in Templetuohy Hall. Once again sellers will begin going door to door selling tickets with all monies collected being split between the two clubs your support is very much appreciated.

Senior Membership: Membership is now due for 2019. Adult Players €50 and U21 Players €25 can be paid to Louis Everard with non players €20 to be paid to Hugh Coghlan ASAP. All membership must be paid this year by March 1st under new Croke Park directives.

Juvenile Membership: Membership for the Juvenile Club is now due and we urge all players to please pay their membership before they re-commence training. Prices is €20 per player or €40 per family. Registration forms will be distributed in the coming weeks.

Harty Cup: Commiseration to Thurles CBS on their exit from this years Harty Cup competition. Hard luck to our own lads of Jack Taylor, Kieran Larkin, Ciaran Lloyd and Barry Ryan all part of the panel.

Scór: There will be auditions for Scor na bPaisti next Monday the 28th of January in Moyne Hall at 7.30pm for children in primary school. All children are welcome to audition. Please spread the word for the 50th anniversary of Scór.
