Club Notes 2nd March, 2020

Intermediate Hurling:

We play Arravale Rovers in the Co. Hurling League this Friday night, March 6th at 8pm in Templetuohy. Our next match in this competition is scheduled for Sunday, Mach 15th at 11.30am against Moneygall in Moneygall. Support could be appreciated. We had a challenge match against Johnstown Fenians last Tuesday night in Templetuohy. Played in very poor weather conditions, we emerged victorious on a score line of 2.16 to 4.04. Thanks to Johnstown for this challenge match.

Ladies Football:

The Junior and U 16 ladies football teams are now back training in preparation for upcoming competitions. Please see Facebook for details of training and matches as the weather is dictating the availability of pitches. The Enda McDonnell Gaeltacht Bursary is now open for applications, closing date is March 20th. Details are available on Tipperary ladies football website. Commiserations to Ellen Moore, Cathy Hogan and Rachel Moore and Tipperary minor ladies team who suffered defeat at the hands of Kerry at the weekend. 

 

Senior Membership:

Thanks to everyone who paid their membership before the closing date of March 1st. If you still want to pay membership, please contact Hugh Coughlan.

Cleaning Rota:

A rota for cleaning the club facilities is currently begin put together and will start in the next two weeks. If anyone is interested in helping out, please contact Jim Ryan or any of the club officers.

Scor Na bPaisti:

Auditions are currently taking place for Scor Na bPaisti. If any primary school children are interested in becoming involved, please contact anyone of the juvenile club officers

Sympathy:

The club expresses sympathies to the family of Lizzie Wilson, Cooleeney who died recently. Also sympathies to Fr. Pat Murphy on the death of John Scully, Roscrea who died recently. May they rest in peace.
