Congratulations to our u15 hurling panel and their coaches who won the Féile division 5 county final on Easter Monday. Their campaign began on Saturday in Clonoulty where they first beat Knockmealdown Gaels on a score line of 2-4 to 1-5. They then suffered a defeat to the Silvermines where they lost 6-4 to 3-3. Their third match was a vital one against their hosts Clonoulty Rossmore but our boys came out on top on a score line of 2-11 to 1-5. With the 3 top teams having lost at least one match Moyne Templetuohy then went through based on the least amount of scores conceded over the 3 matches.
In the semi final goals were, as ever, the deciding factor as the boys overcame Lattin Cullen on a score line of 6-2 to 2-2.
They then faced their old rivals and hot favourites Boherlahan Dualla in the final in Dr Morris Park on Easter Monday. However the final went their way and the team, a determined bunch of boys incorporating some of our u13 team also, emerged victorious on the scoreline of 2-4 to 0-8 points. A fantastic result for a team who were a credit to their club and families over the entire campaign. Well done boys and all involved with you over the weekend!🙌🏻🟢🟡🏆
